I’m an unwavering optimist with a limitless curiosity for the human experience.
I love engaging with family and friends, and making people feel seen and heard through speaking, training, and podcasting. If I’m not having coffee dates with interesting and inspiring humans, I’m dreaming of ways to elevate others or dancing in the kitchen…probably avoiding cooking and doing the dishes!

I was born in raised in the cold but beautiful state of Minnesota. And yes, still harbor disgruntled feelings over the Halloween blizzard of ’91! Growing up Minnesotan, I looked forward to summers on the lake, playing in the USA Cup (the second largest soccer tournament in the world) and building walls of snow in the middle of the street…we clearly lived on the edge!
Later on, I headed west and in the words of the Dixie Chicks, “I can look at the South Dakota horizon and not see a building standing tall!” Although I miss Minnesota, I can truly say this is exactly where I meant to be!

My Story
How I Got Started
In this human experience, I rock a lot of hats, some given and some chosen!
Partner to Rocky aka “Hunky husband” — the man who made my Hallmark story come true (insert gag or long aww). He’s my technology-loving business partner, travel companion, and the man behind the scenes that makes all this magic happen… Thank the Lord for him!
“Mama” to two daughters and segregate mama to our intern and a myriad of animals!
Emily – Responsible, intuitive, social justice warrior
Liz – Creative, focused, compassionate lover of animals
Glenys – Bubbly, brave, and our favorite El Salavoran daughter.
Brooks – Charmer, ladies man, and mama’s boy
Mia – Judgy, soft, and daddy’s girl
Bella – Curious, fearless, and thinks she’s a dog
Sheldon – Cute, messy, and veggie obsessed
Friend – In the word of John Lennon, “I get by with a little help from my friends”. I owe much of my joy and success in life to the brave and brilliant women in my orbit. You all know who you are!
Daughter – I have barfy parents! The one’s most people would dreamed of. They love each other, us, and anyone else in need of family.
Sister – You’re not really siblings unless you’ve yelled, “I’m not touching you”, while holding your hand centimeters from their face! Fast forward a few years and we are still each others biggest fans while not missing the opportunity to throw out the occasional dig!
